Pilot Beer are brewers based in Leith. They were founded in 2011 by Matt and Patrick, who started the whole thing in Matt’s garage!

Fast forward more than a decade and Pilot is firmly established and well known for its quality beer, innovative flavours and cool branding.

In 2022, Pilot came to MB. The team here at MB towers was delighted, as we do love a beer now and again!

Pilot and MB have worked together to create digital marketing campaigns, including big screen and LED boards at football stadiums. The brand has also seen an increase of 46% in engagement on its social media channels. In addition, we’ve worked together on website campaigns and have seen an impressive 30% increase in sales through the site.

In December, Pilot and MB launched a new beer to the market. ‘Hush Hush’ was already around as one of Pilot’s flagship pale ales but was previously brewed exclusively for Edinburgh speakeasy-style bars – and only on draft. A digital campaign was launched, including social media and photography and the beer was launched (in cans) to the public in time for Christmas!

We are very much at the start of our relationship with Pilot, but we are working on development of the partnership and the brand’s voice.
